Sophia Street - Little Gym Style!

This year big, pregnant Mommy took the "easy" way out!  Meaning I found a place for Soph's party who would handle the entertainment, decorations, set-up and clean-up.  Of course, control freak that I am, I still had to bring my own decorations, tableware, snacks, drinks, favors...oh, you know, pretty much everything that was originally included in the package :)  BUT, in my defense, the girl asked for an Elmo party and who am I to deny such a request!  Have you seen this sweet baby's smile?  I mean seriously, you couldn't have said no either :)

Even with all the stuff I did do (self-inflicted as it may have been), it was still super easy and the kids had an amazing time ~ which is exactly why I would definitely recommend The Little Gym for birthday parties.  They were so helpful, great with the kids, patient and always had a smile on their face.  Honestly, I would probably go insane if I had to do four birthday parties on a Sunday :/  And we were only the second one!

Note to Self:  When you decide on a place for a birthday party in the future, book it that day!  Things around here book up insanely quickly!!!  Hence why we had a Sunday, after church birthday party instead of the normal Saturday ones I plan...

And without further adieu, Welcome to Sophia Street!  I think her smiles say it all :)

Happy Birthday!

To the cutest two-year old I know!

I still can't believe my sweet girl is now 2 years 2 months old (yes, I'm still getting caught up on the blog)!!!  I just don't understand where the time goes.  It seems like yesterday that it was April 13, 2010, and we met her for the first time.  It seems like yesterday that we celebrated her first birthday, and she took her first steps.  And now, it's already been two months since we celebrated her second birthday.

The saying is so very, very true ~ the days can be so long. but boy, are the years so short!  We truly are absolutely blessed to spend each and every day being parents to this precious angel.

To the moon and back...always and forever!

My morning birthday tradition for many years to come.
Heck, as her mom I can still call and do this when she's forty :)
Ready for school and looking ADORABLE!!!!!!!

It's a birthday party British style!
Ok, well it's pretty much American style, but it was at the British Private Prep School :)
Soph's Birthday Banner
Her cupcake party!
She was digging the hat...
 ...and the attention...
...and of course the icing :)

More fun after school!
Birthday bubbles!  George likes bubbles as much as Sophia...maybe even more :)
And my little bug wouldn't be happy without some water time on her birthday!

And because I am so behind...

...the next few posts will be slightly out of chronological order! But hey, unless you are completely anal compulsive addicted to organization like me, then it won't bother you :)  Plus, if I hadn't of said anything you probably wouldn't have put two and two together anyway...heck, you would probably just be proud of me for posting anything at this point!

So I posted about Swing Set Day 1 (http://taliaferrofam.blogspot.com/2011/04/swingset-day-1.html), but what you don't know is there was actually a Swing Set Day 2 and yes, even a Swing Set Day 3!!!  Said Swing Set is now begrudgingly lovingly referred to as "the fort".  Apparently, at some point, once a swing set reaches beyond, oh you know, HUGE, it no longer falls within the parameters of a simple swing set.  To my defense, and I know I've said this before, but it DID NOT look that big on the box.  And even in CostCo, it just looks like a fun swing set!  I mean they have it set up in the aisle...how big could it possibly be???  Well, now we know don't we...

It went from this...
to this...
and went a little something like this in between...
