Yep...heels (at least for her) and a bumbo!  Enough said :)
Is it bad that at almost two she still fit?!

Fun at Froberg's Farm!

You know...we lived in Pearland for how many years and never went to Froberg's Farm until we moved to Katy!  What on Earth is wrong with us?!  This place is amazing ~ and it only took us five plus years to figure that out.  I mean seriously, what did we do on the weekends before we had Sophia.  Funny how you find more things to do once you have kids...especially when it is inexpensive entertainment :)

Fresh strawberries, garden veggies, a kid's play area, bunnies, a swing set and great friends!  I mean come on!  What more could you want on a beautiful afternoon?

Now to convince my sweet husband to drive all the way back to Alvin to get some more of those fresh veggies.  Hmmm...is this one of those times I can play the pregnancy card?!

Picking strawberries for the first time!

Soph is quite proud of her bucket :)
So-So and Avarie "driving" the tractor.  Notice how neither of them
is actually looking ahead as they drive!  We will work on this in the years to come :)
Precious Girls + Precious Bunnies = Precious Memories!
(Though I have to say, I felt absolutely terrible for these poor bunnies.  If bunnies were ever entitled to anxiety attacks, I think being surrounded by kids squealing, petting and wanting to pick you up would certainly trigger some anxiety.  Heck, I was panicking for them!)
Just a swingin!

Love when we get to do fun things as a family and even more so when we get to spend time with great friends who we cherish dearly!  We are certainly blessed!!!

And now to figure out that whole repeat trip thing ~ Lilah sure would love some fresh cucumbers ;)

Less than FIFTY days!!!

So I just realized we are less than FIFTY days away from meeting our sweet Lilah Bear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes, this is all I have to say.  Why?  Well, because it totally deserves a post all of its own!

February Highlights :)

I would have liked to call this blog post, February "Fun"lights, but really, February was a little slow around here.  And might I add, a slow month is totally unusual for the Taliaferro household.  Our months are usually jam-packed...just wait until I blog about April!

So as slim as it might be, here are our February "fun" lights!

Putting her Hello Kitty rain boots to good use :)  Daddy let her play
in the puddles one Friday afternoon!
And I think we've played in them a number of times since ~ my SoSo is quite the little water-bug!
Moving on up to her toddler bed thanks to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ray!
And because Daddy didn't want to disassemble the REALLY big girl bed once it was delivered and assembled...sweet little SoSo kept on moving up!
Looks like little Lilah Bear might be getting more use out of the toddler bed than Sophia!
Valentine's Day...and absolutely refusing to give me a smile :(
See...I told you it was a slow month :)  March "Fun"lights to come soon!

Pearland Winterfest!

So you know how I keep saying I will get caught up???  Well, slow and steady wins the race, right?  Though at this point in the pregnancy, the odds of me winning any type of race at all is a pretty far fetched idea :)

Nonetheless, one step in front of the other...so here we go!

I love taking Sophia to do things...especially when her friends are involved, and even more so when said activity is cheap!  And funny how the cheapest outings seem to be her favorite ~ just one more thing to love about her.  At least as long as it lasts...which I have a feeling won't be too many years from now.

Anyway, back to the whole point of the post.  Pearland Winterfest is an event put on by Pearland Parks and Recreation, which of course we never attended when we lived there. But hey, you live you learn!  And, can I just say, it was a toddler's dream...riding a school bus from the parking lot to the event, pony rides, petting zoos, bouncy houses, carnival food, music to dance to and of course, "snow".  I use that term VERY loosely.  The "snow" which Mommy was super excited about was more like shaved ice...and I don't mean the soft, wonderful snow cone type.  I mean the concession stand hard type of snow cone ice.  So needless to say, we strategically bypassed the kids away from participating ~ and um, also because none of us really wanted to wait in the ridiculous lines.  Thankfully, our kids are too young to even notice :)  I wonder how many years we have before strategy loses out to a child's insistence???

Cause you see, at this age, who needs snow when you have a PONY?!  And not just a pony, but Harper Anne AND a pony?!?!?!?  Life was good for Soph :)

Two amazing dads and some very special little girls :)
It's a good thing Soph's BFF is brave around animals...
What you can't see in this picture is that Soph pretty much followed Harper around and wouldn't let go.  In her defense, the animals were quite a bit larger than they were.
And now...the star of the show!  Bouncy houses!!!
But notice something else?  JuJu is here!  Now Soph is REALLY having a great day :)
She loves her some Harper Anne and JuJu...and all in one place!  We got the cool parents award that day...at least if she was old enough to understand what that meant, I'm sure she would have given it to us!
Running out the energy...how they still have any, I have NO idea!!!
I think this picture speaks for itself!
And for your viewing pleasure, a little something extra to make you smile :)
