It has been 8 years since the tragedy of September 11, 2001 ~ a day that is forever in our memories and that has altered the history of the United States in ways that are simply unexplainable.
It is my prayer today, that the Lord will continue to surround those who lost loved ones on that day, those who have so graciously given the ultimate in the call of duty, and those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our great country.
It is a great honor to be a citizen of the United States and one that should not be taken lightly. We will never forget!

Hey if I leave a note you will know 'we' are stopping by and reading! I want to share a 9-11 note: That's Ted's birthday 9-11. Everytime he has to give his date of birth and he says 9-11-37 the person asking says: "Really, 9-11 ??" A couple of years after with 9-11 coming close the class our grandson Turner was in were discussing this event- Turner casually put in: "9-11..that's not sad, That's a good date to remember" naturally everyone gave HIM A STRANGE LOOK..and he continued "Because that's my Pop's Birthday!"
